1. The Healthcare Market Place
IPAs will assist uninsured consumers to find the right health insurance for themselves and their families. The Marketplace offers a web portal with information about health plans to allow people to compare health plans. People enrolled through the Marketplace may be eligible for premium and cost-sharing subsidies. The next open enrollment period for the Marketplace will begin on November 1, 2017 and end on December 15, 2017.
2. The Arkansas Private Option/ Medicaid Expansion
Arkansas offers people with incomes between 0 – 138% of the federal poverty level the opportunity to acquire insurance through Arkansas’ health insurance exchange. This expansion of Medicaid allows the state to use federal funds to buy private policies for residents who are newly eligible for Medicaid.
3. Medicare Savings Programs
